Material form + function
Summer 2013 class looking at forms and materiality. For the first project, I found a broken brick, which I interpreted in different ways laminating, casting and constructing. I used wood, plaster and paper maché to abstract the form of the brick and study it's form. All the pieces reflect the naturalized nature of the brick, which has been weathered to be closer to a stone.

Avalanche-proof house
Taking cues from the hull of a ship, we designed an 'avalanche-proof' ski resort.
